Aerial Fire Fighting
Aircraft have been used in Australia to suppress wildfires for many years and we have been at the forefront of this industry during this time.
AGAIR operates state of the art SEAT (Single Engine Air Tanker) aircraft for fire fighting. Our partnership with 10 Tanker Air Carrier enables us to bring the DC10 air tanker to the Australasian region when necessary to provide a significant boost to aircraft resources during severe fire danger periods.

Aerial Agriculture
AGAIR aerial agriculture is a cost effective solution as we have the flexibility to be able to cover large and small jobs with great efficiency. Our agricultural aircraft are turbine engine powered. They have a load carrying capacity that ranges from one to three ton depending on the aircraft.
The aircraft have their own ground support team to load the planes and refuel them during the daily operations.

Aircraft Maintenance
We have two workshops available which allows us to perform regular maintenance on several aircraft at once. This is an essential requirement as we operate between 10 and 15 aircraft at any given time.
Throughout the year each plane will undergo a major service. The aircraft may be workshop-bound for several weeks but during the year when the aircraft are working the regular servicing may only take a day or two.

Cessna 337
Our Cessna 337 Birddog aircraft is a favourite with our fire agencies. Its high wing and inline twin engine configuration makes it very suitable for aerial reconnaissance missions.
It will ferry to an incident at 270 kilometres an hour and loiter on scene for up to 7 hours on a single tank of fuel. The speed of the Cessna 337 is well matched to our Air Tractor AT-802 firebombing aircraft and they are quite often dispatched to an incident together to provide aerial supervision of the fire bomber and real time intelligence back to incident control. Whenever additional fire suppressant loads are required the Cessna 337 will remain on scene to monitor fire development between loads.
